Hands on Service Projects

Sing-A-Long and Valentines Project Cupertino Wellness Center: Organize a Sing-A-Long with residents at the Cupertino Wellness Center. Quota members create Valentine cards for all residents and other craft activities such as beading.

Clothes for the Navajos: Work cooperatively and partner with Cupertino Host Lions in gathering, folding and packing thousands of pounds of donated clothing for transport to the Navajo Reservation for distribution. For further information please contact Gail Jensen at: mathteach613@gmail.com

Kiddies Holiday Shopping and Luncheon: For many years our club has partnered with Cupertino Rotary Club, Rotary Interact Club, Inner Wheel, Cupertino Union School District and collaboratively hosted a holiday shopping event for disadvantaged students.  At the Northwest YMCA the children participate in craft projects, enjoy a pizza/salad lunch, a visit from Santa and each child receives a gift.

YWCA-SV Domestic Violence Department Support Network  We collect, purchase, and package toiletries and other supplies, so that women and children can have needed items when they move from emergency shelters.

Annual Fundraisers

Quota Tea “2015 History of Tea,”  “2016 Welcome to Tea”  Quota members and Friends of Quota hosted fifty guests for High Tea at the Cupertino Quinlan Community Center. Proceeds benefit The Grateful Garment Project.

Hats Off to You!! Hats Off is an annual luncheon at the Quinlan Community Center held the 4th Thursday in April, 11:30 a.m.to 1:00 p.m. saluting the citizens and volunteers of our community. Poinsettias for the HolidayQuota offers the highest quality Poinsettias, a variety of colors and sales begin in November with early delivery in December.

Brunch Benefit Monthly brunch benefit sponsored by the Original Pancake House in San Jose.  The Original Pancake House supports Quota’s mission.
